It’s easy to reserve reading materials for kids and teens! Multiple copies of the book, an author bio, book reviews, author interview, and discussion questions are provided in a handy to-go kit, so students are all on the same page.
Self-contained kits for K-6 students provide manipulatives and ideas for helping students during remote learning or home schooling. Kits on the subjects of Literacy/Language Arts, Math, Art, Social Studies, and Science can be checked out using your library card.
Bark for Books
Bark for Books helps budding and struggling readers build confidence and self-esteem by reading out loud to trained therapy dogs without the stress of being judged. This program is currently on hiatus.
This unique program matches trained teen Big Buddies with struggling readers, Little Buddies, in grades 1-3. Buddies meet weekly for two months to read and enjoy literacy-based games. Does your child struggle with motivation, confidence and skill when it comes to reading? Learn more about Reading Buddies.
