Kids ages 4-11 can experience out-of-this-world fun at Camp DCL this summer! Choose from weeklong half-day camps or full-day camps at select locations (at a 10% discount). Full-day campers will stay at their camp location each day and must bring a nut-free lunch daily.

Rollercoaster Science Camp

Ages 5-10, $215

Don’t miss this Carnival of Fun, where the physics and chemistry of the amusement park come alive! We'll design and build rollercoasters, as well as a merry-go-round or Ferris wheel. Help EggMo survive the Tower of Doom. Explore alchemy and make a Golden Penny. Then enter our Glow Lab and explore all things glowy and creepy. Campers will be smiling from ear to ear at this camp. Kinderbots Robotics Camp

July 12-16, 9AM-12:30PM
Ages 4-6, $175

Explore the world of robotics! Young campers will learn the fundamentals of robotic design as they build simple models during the week. They will learn about sensors while building drills and magic wands, and discover ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs—all while having a great time! Facilitated by professionals from Snapology.

We Love Pets! Art Camp

July 19-23, 9AM-12:30PM
Ages 5-10, $175

It’s a pets-art extravaganza! Campers' adorable pets will come to life in drawings of cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, lizards and more! Kids will have fun making a soft "rag doll" style puppy from a towel, painting a horse on canvas, and creating clay sculptures of pets in cozy home habitats. They’ll work with a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oil pastels, and illustration markers, among others, and will develop a positive "stick with it" attitude and problem-solving skills through a unique teaching approach. Facilitated by professionals from KidzArt.

Aspiring young chefs will have a blast every day discovering how easy and awesomely fun it is to cook (and gobble up!) tasty, healthy cuisine from South America, Europe, Africa and Asia in our international cooking camp. High-Flying Catapults Engineering Camp

August 2-6, 1-4:30PM
Ages 5-10, $215

Throw things—really, really far—with catapults, trebuchets and cannons! Campers will build a working tabletop wooden trebuchet and explore Newton's laws of motion, play with a mini basketball catapult, and float flying Frisbees on our golf course. How about some terrific target practice with a marshmallow blaster? We’ll do that too! Things will be whizzing through the air all week. Facilitated by professionals from Science Matters.

Calling all young chefs! We combine food, film and fun to teach aspiring foodies how to create, stage and present their own cooking shows. Campers will also learn cooking basics, making delectable flavor combos using safe, no-bake recipes. This camp provides tools unique to filming a cooking show and the know-how to create sensational snacks the whole family will love, from sweet to savory! Campers will face cooking challenges each morning based on their favorite shows, from Master Chef Jr. to Cutthroat Kitchen, and cook up tasty recipes from scratch. Basics of Minecraft LEGO Camp

Space: The Final Frontier Science Camp

July 12-16, 9AM-12:30PM
Ages 5-10, $215

Join us on an amazing adventure through space! Campers will build and launch a solid fuel rocket that goes over 100 feet into the stratosphere (local restrictions may apply). We’ll visit planets in our solar system, and design a spaceship capable of landing on the Martian surface. Kids will have a fun designing their own alien traveling companion, making a comet, and playing Comet Golf. We’ll also build a telescope that helps bring the stars closer to us. Blast off on this epic journey among the stars! Facilitated by professionals from Science Matters.
