Martha Stories:Touring Douglas County Libraries & Schools May - June

Designed for grades K-4.

Free; registration required, starting April 13.

In 2008, Page to Stage Productions will stage Martha Stories at area libraries and elementary schools. The play is based on the Martha Speaks stories by Susan Meddaugh.

The play tells the story of Martha the dog. When Martha eats some alphabet soup, the letters go straight to her brain and she starts talking. Martha’s vocal adventures include a run-in with a burglar, a clandestine visit to a “no dogs allowed” resort, and a challenging attempt to speak without all of the letters in the alphabet.
