Centrally-located, just west of Parker's historic town center, the library includes a diverse collection, with special emphasis on consumer health, equestrian resources, home schooling tools, local music and inspirational materials. A professionally-staffed children's room and separate teen area serve the community's youth. The Parker Library also provides professional onsite reference service, full-service public computing stations and a used-book sale room. Public meeting rooms include one conference room, a large meeting room and two small study rooms.

Cafe Current Presents Russia's Invasion of Georgia

Michael McNeal from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at Denver University will examine Russia's recent incursion beyond its borders. The discussion will take place at the Warhorse Inn in historic downtown Parker. The event is free and there is no registration required.
Flu Shots

Come get a flu shot to protect you and your family this season. Flu shots cost $25 and the recipient must be four years old or older. No cost for those covered by the following insurance plans: Medicare Part B or(142) Railroad Medicare (when your primary insurance plan), and Rocky Mtn. HMO. Other insurances may be accepted.

Conversations in Art

Join us for Art is in the Eye of the Beholder presented by Chris Giroux. Chris is a local artist, educator, and executive board member of the Parker Artists Guild. She will talk to us about what the eye actually sees, what the mind tricks us into seeing, and how to interpret art around us.
Practice Your English
Where: Parker at Parker Conference Room
The focus of the Practice Your English groups is to boost English skills for foreign language speakers ages seventeen and older by focusing on everyday interests and informal conversation topics. A facilitator will provide support to group members.
