What is a Neighborhood Library
Neighborhood Libraries are a new approach to library service in Douglas County. A Neighborhood Library is a smaller, more intimate space than our traditional Regional Libraries in Highlands Ranch, Parker and Castle Rock. The Neighborhood Libraries provide a concentrated scope of services, including:
- Multiple copies of the most popular fiction, nonfiction, magazines, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs.
- Comfortable and flexible living room space for leisure reading.
- Fast technology, including Wi-Fi, mobile Internet stations and powerful databases.
- Motivated, attentive staff to give personal customer service to every patron.
- Quick access to the entire Douglas County Libraries catalog of over 750,000 items.
