Highlands Ranch Library Looking for Artists to Display in 2012

The Art Selection Committee of the Highlands Ranch Library is accepting submittals from artists who wish to exhibit at the library in 2012.

Artists who wish to be considered are asked to submit images of 5 to 10 different works in any one of the following ways:

-- Digital photos can be emailed to lcasper@dclibraries.org.
-- Slides may be submitted in 8 1/2 x 11 clear slide protector sheets and mailed to the Art Committee/Lisa Casper, Highlands Ranch Library, 9292 Ridgeline Blvd, Highlands Ranch, Colorado 80129, or they can be dropped off at the library's Information Desk. The artist should also provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that slides can be returned after they have been juried.
-- An Artist's Website may be used as a method to submit the 10 images of artwork.
-- A CD may be mailed to the above address or dropped off at the Information Desk, and should include a self-addressed stamped envelope so it can be returned.

All submittals must include the artist's:

Name, Address, Phone number, Email address, Web address if applciable, Type of medium(s) used (e.g. photography, watercolor, oils, etc.)

The Committee will jury all submittals. Artwork is selected on the basis of aesthetic qualities, quality of craftsmanship and presentation, and suitability of subject matter. Artists who exhibited their work at the library in 2011 will not be considered again until the call for submittals for 2013.

Art guilds and societies may submit as a group. A representative of the group may email or call Lisa Casper at 720.348.9522 for more information.
Students submitting their work need to be at the college level or above to be accepted.
