Jamie LaRue, Director

Jamie LaRue has been the director of the Douglas County Libraries since 1990. In that time, he has written a weekly newspaper column, appearing in the Douglas County News-Press and its affiliates.

A former President of the Colorado Library Association, he has won various awards: Colorado Librarian of the Year in 1998, the Julie J. Boucher Award for Intellectual Freedom in 2000, the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce's Business Person of the Year in 2003, and the National Council of Teachers of English/Support for the Learning and Teaching of English Intellectual Freedom Award in 2004. He got his Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois-Urbana. jlarue @ dclibraries . org

Art Glover, Associate Director of Human Resources

Art Glover has been with the Douglas County Libraries since 2003. He is certified as a "Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)", an internationally recognized certification in the Human Resources profession. At Douglas County Libraries, Mr. Glover oversees management of the Human Resources and Training Departments. He holds an M. Rochelle Logan, Associate Director of Research and Collections

Rochelle Logan has been an Associate Director at Douglas County Libraries (DCL) since 2001. Previously, she worked at the Colorado State Library as Associate Director of the Library Research Service. At Douglas County Libraries, Logan oversees management of Collection Development, Research and Statistics, Technical Services, and The Douglas County History Research Center. Pam Nissler, Associate Director of Community Services

Pam Nissler has been with Douglas County Libraries for over 10 years. She is a past president of Colorado Association of Libraries. Ms. Nissler has an M.A. in Library Science from the University of Denver. She oversees Branch Services as well as the Community Relations and Literacy Departments. phooper @ dclibraries.org

Bob Pasicznyuk, Associate Director of Virtual Services

Bob Pasicznyuk has worked in technology services for over a decade, coming to Douglas County Libraries in 2004. He oversees Information Technology, Web Services and the Contact Center. He is also on the faculty of the University of Denver School of Library and Information Science where he has taught since the program's inception. In 2007 he, received the College of Education's Adjunct Faculty Award. He earned a Master's Degree in Library Science and an Advanced Studies Certification in Information Technologies from the University of North Texas. bpasicznyuk @ dclibraries.org

Mary Tweden, Associate Director of Finance

Mary Tweden has been with the Library since 2001 in the capacity of Business Manager and Associate Director of Finance. Prior to the Library, Mary worked 20 years in accounting and financial management as a CPA for a national accounting firm and as a corporate financial executive.
